From Thailand to Cambodia — 26 Years of Expertise
Coastal Boats has now moved to Kampot in Cambodia after operating in Thailand for twenty years. Our main focus is on aluminium construction, and we have built a top team of skilled aluminium welders and fabricators.
We are also experienced in all facets of fibreglass construction — standard GRP and especially epoxy/PVC foam sandwich and epoxy/ply cold moulding. However, we have concentrated on the market for commercial aluminium vessels over the past 15 years, and this diversification has kept us moving forward.

A New Home on the Kampot River
We have developed new infrastructure on land beside the river in Kampot. Development began in 2020 and a final factory extension has just been completed, enabling us to have three Mumby 48 Cyber sailing catamarans under construction at the same time.
Our factory is located on the opposite side of the river from Kampot town — just a 15-minute drive from the town centre. Kampot is approximately 4 hours by car south of Phnom Penh, making it accessible from the capital while offering the river-access essential for launching our builds.

Aluminium Construction
Our primary focus — TIG and MIG welded aluminium hulls using BV/DNV certified plate sourced in Singapore. Bulkheads and frames are CAD-cut for precision fit.
Fibreglass & GRP
Skilled in all facets of fibreglass construction: standard GRP, epoxy/PVC foam sandwich, and epoxy/ply cold moulding for a range of vessel types.
Commercial Vessels
Over 15 years concentrated in commercial marine builds — passenger ferries, landing craft, and offshore performance catamarans delivered internationally.
Lofting & Templates
Traditional lofting skills combined with CAD precut parts — ensuring accuracy from plan to finished hull with minimal material waste.
Custom Fabrication
Beams, bulkheads, structural frames, and deck hardware custom-fabricated in-house by experienced metal fabricators — no outsourcing critical structural elements.
Quality & Certification
All aluminium plate is BV or DNV certified. We supply cost-effective, professional boat construction with close attention to detail, quality, and customer care.
